Welcome to my site! My name is Dusty and I am the founder of Simple Dog fundraisers. In 2009, I began volunteering at the National Mill Dog Rescue kennel, east of Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a new volunteer, I was heartbroken and shocked to learn first hand where most puppies sold in pet stores and online really come from - puppy mills. I couldn't believe the cruel and inhumane treatment suffered by dogs used in commercial breeding mills. It struck me that puppy mills are a profit driven system and it's time to change how business is done.
I adopted two sweet mill dogs from the National Mill Dog Rescue and began to think of a fun and simple way to raise money and awareness for causes I believe in, like puppy mill rescue and pet adoption. Fun stickers are always a good fundraising idea, and so that's what we do!
